Energy is an underrated part of property work. An agent walking into a home is representing someone's livelihood, and the way they show up affects how the property is presented and how the owner experiences the process.

The people around an agent matter more than most clients realise. Those working alongside colleagues they respect tend to bring more to an inspection, a phone call or a negotiation. Agents running on empty are the ones who burn out, and the drop in service quality reaches the client eventually.

This is part of why culture sits alongside strategy at beagl. A team that turns up properly for each other is more likely to turn up properly for the buyer sitting across the table, and that holds in a fast market or a slow one.

Buyers choosing who to work with can test for it. Ask how long the team has worked together, and how many people will actually be involved in the search. Attitude is hard to assess from a website, but it becomes obvious once the work starts.

This business is so high energy. Like if you are not feeling your cup, and the people that surround you, I think naturally, like so if you're not going to work and you don't have really cool inspiring people, you're like, "Oh, that's draining." And we're already drained. Like our cup feels like it's already drained from so many different things. But we have to be in someone's home representing their home, their livelihood with true, natural, authentic, good quality energy.

Yeah, so you can't skimp on that. Like I take that very seriously. to, yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Especially well, in any market, you know, like how you front up like that. But yeah, I think it's easy to get burned out if there's a couple of things that aren't in the right place.
