Best known as a founding partner of the iconic WA hospitality group Varsity, Matt's career has been defined by a strong commitment to relationships, culture, and creating spaces, both physical and digital, that bring people together.

With a background spanning event planning and large-scale hospitality operations, Matt brings a grounded, people-first approach to everything he does. At beagl, he draws on the same ethos that helped turn Varsity into one of WA’s most loved F&B brands: a focus on community, collaboration, and delivering memorable experiences.

Matt is also a Director at Bright Tsar Studios in Myaree, a purpose-built content creation studio that supports local brands, creators, and businesses with high-quality production and storytelling. An excellent adjunct and value-add to the beagl team.
