Why are first home buyers struggling in Perth right now? Well, obviously their benefit uh as a first-time home buyer is to get stamp duty relief. Stamp duty relief has a cap and it's too low. Obviously, the the properties that they're looking in are 700 720. Okay. Now, I know REI had been knocking on the government's door for a long long time saying, "Come on, bring this into today's world. lift the threshold for first home buyers and make it easier because that's, you know, it's given
relief. It's giving them a benefit. Well, everyone should have that opportunity, right, to have that stamp duty, I guess, exemption once. Correct. If we've had a medium prices lifted from say 550 to 750 in the last two years. Yeah. All right. Well, obviously that the government's not keeping up with pace.
